WinterWeed is a very hardy cool weather forage with a protein content ranging from 18 to 25%. An annual, related to cabbage, kale and turnips that can be planted in the late summer, will last until the spring. Deer feed off the leaves and new growth giving wildlife managers the option of a high protein cool weather forage. WinterWeed is also an easy to grow, reasonably priced forage that draws the deer in. |
